The Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 is nothing short of an all-time classic. At least in the eyes of a 23-year-old kid, the day he scrounged it up at a garage sale in Indianapolis, IN. For a whopping $8, this 1981, 35 mm point-and-shoot film camera came to me as a gift from the photography gods, and the rest is history…

This Minolta features a 38mm f/2.8 lens along with one of the world’s first infrared autofocus systems. Everything about this camera embodies the true charm of vintage film photography, and I hope that you enjoy its unique captures as much as I do.
